Todd Arnold got the First Mallard Brood Picture in Bismarck Area

Early hatch is always good, especially in fairly dry years like this one in Bismarck area. This poor honey already lost some ducklings. Duckling survival is higher when water is good.

Up here at the Delta Marsh we are still two weeks from hatch for the earliest duck nests.
