Not long on the wing

Never disrespect “greater blue-wings.”  They have saved many marginal hunts.

This young female Shoveler has probably been on the wing for less than three weeks. 

Early hatch and early to fly is ALWAYS an advantage for survival for waterfowl and all other birds.
