First day for arctic birds

Today at Lake Winnipegosis I saw the first flights of Snow Geese and one set of Cacklers. Those were the first arctic birds I have heard or seen in Manitoba.

Nice chill this morning and a strong north wind surely had an impact.

I return to the Delta Marsh late today, but the only fields of geese seen were the big resident Canadas.
